It has been reported that the existing ambulances should be repainted based on their efficiency tests. According to the direction, bright white color should be painted on its tap and devices should also be installed to track the location of the vehicles.

Aroor: In a new move, the State Road Transport Authority has ordered all ambulances in Kerala to change their color to white. The order will be effective from January 1, 2023.
It has been reported that the existing ambulances should be repainted based on their efficiency tests. According to the direction, bright white color should be painted on its tap and devices should also be installed to track the location of the vehicles.
Directions have also been issued for ambulances carrying bodies. Sirens should no longer be used in such ambulances. Instead, it must have “Hearse” written on the front, back and sides for identification.
Likewise, a 15 cm wide line must be painted in navy blue around the middle of the vehicle.
