Andhra Pradesh’s interests are paramount to YSRCP, asserts Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy

Adviser (Public Affairs) Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy has found fault with Telangana Finance Minister T. Harish Rao’s comments against the situation in Andhra Pradesh.

“Mr. Harish Rao should settle his differences with Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhara Rao instead of criticizing the situation in Andhra Pradesh,” Mr. Ramakrishna Reddy said in an informal media interview at the party’s central office on Friday.

“Andhra Pradesh and Telangana have cordial relations, and are trying to resolve all issues amicably,” he added.

“We do not want to drag ourselves into the controversy arising out of Mr. Harish Rao’s statements,” said Mr. Ramakrishna Reddy.

“As far as Andhra Pradesh is concerned, the gang of four is targeting Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and is harming the interests of the State. The gang of four consists of TDP, Jana Sena Party and their friendly media, Eenadu and Andhra Jyothy,” alleged Mr. Ramakrishna Reddy.

Mr. Ramakrishna Reddy said that the interests of the State were paramount for the YSRCP government.

“As far as YSRCP is concerned, we are clear. The interests of the state are important to us. We do not want to participate in any fronts or alliances. Mr. Jagan Mohan Reddy’s intentions are clear. Our politics is different and we are quite serious when we are talking about politics. We do not take people’s help for granted,” said Mr. Ramakrishna Reddy.
