From its coarse language to intense comedy and dark tone, the upcoming film ‘Kuttey’ has shades of the 2009 Shahid Kapoor starrer ‘Kaminey’. Arjun Kapoor starrer “Kutey” is directed by “Kaminey” director Vishal Bhardwaj’s son Aasmaan and the title appears as a sequel to the 2009 film.
The over two-minute long trailer that was released on Tuesday teases the audience with the song ‘Dhan Te Nan’ from the 2009 film ‘Kaminey’.
The composer of the 2009 song, Vishal Bhardwaj, has also provided the music for “Kuttey”. The trailer catches the audience’s ears as Arjun Kapoor, Tabu and Radhika Madan are seen using explicit language to make a point.
In 2009, censors objected to the interviews of “Kaminey” because they thought it contained too much violence. The film was given an ‘A’ certificate. They proposed huge restrictions if Vishal Bharadwaj wanted a ‘U/A’ certificate.
