The now viral video was shared on Instagram by Major General Ranjan Mahajan. In the clip, he can be seen ringing the doorbell and entering his mother’s house. The officer was wearing his uniform and went to his mother who was sitting on a couch. He was delighted to see his son, who greeted him gracefully. Then the mother and son hugged each other and the whole moment was very joyful.

“Last salute to my mother before I hang up my uniform. We moved from Ambala to Delhi and it was absolutely amazing for my mother who gave birth and made me worthy of this life and this uniform to serve my country proudly for 35 years. Given a chance she will always be ready to be part of India’s elite. to serve the army again.” Ranjan Mahajan has titled the post.
