What is 5G, and how does it differ from current 3G and 4G services?

5G is a fifth-generation mobile network capable of transmitting large amounts of data at very high speeds.

Compared to 3G and 4G, 5G has very low latency which will improve user experience in various sectors.

Low latency describes the efficiency of processing a very large volume of data messages with minimal delay.

The rollout of 5G is expected to lead to further developments in remote data monitoring in sectors such as mining, storage, telemedicine and manufacturing. (ANI)
