‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ star Chris Pratt has been stung by a bee in the eye. The actress admitted she had a “false sense of security” after watching videos of Texas beekeeper Erika Thompson, who regularly handles the creatures and their hives without protective gear.
But the idea that she believed she could “control” biting insects quickly backfired, reports Female First UK. Wearing sunglasses, she said in a video shared on her Instagram account: “So I’m following this lady bee on Instagram, she’s so cute and brave and she goes in front of the beehives and says, ‘They’re great. take it easy today. I’m going to remove the bee , I’m going to use my bare hands to screen the bees and look for the queen.” It built that false sense of security in me to the point where I said, ‘I guess. I can control the bees, too.’

He will star in the next Super Mario Bros. movie, which will be released in theaters on April 7, 2023. Pratt will also reprise his Guardians of the Galaxy character Peter Quill in the third installment of the film.
According to Female First UK , the 43-year-old actress decided to try to approach some bees earlier this week, hoping the noisy honey-makers are “quiet”. He continued: “So two days ago I saw a beehive and I went up to it and the man next to me said, ‘Watch out, there are bees,’ and I said, ‘These bees look very peaceful.’
“And I just stared at these bees and then one of them came out and stung me in the eyeball. So anyway, screw that bee lady.”
Chris then removed his sunglasses to reveal his swollen eye.
