Actress Bhavana, who made her Mollywood debut with ‘Nammal’, is probably one of the boldest artists in the industry. Earlier this year, the actor opened up about his assault after he was kidnapped in a moving van in 2017. Now, the actor is all set to make his comeback in Mollywood with ‘Shafeekkinte Santhosham’ starring Sharafudheen. .
Recently, the actor posted a throwback picture from Nammal, his Mollywood debut. Bhavana recalls how she was not satisfied with the make-up as she felt no one would recognize her in the film. He also fondly recalled playing Parimalam, a slang-speaking slum dweller in Thrissur.
“Twenty years ago today, I walked into the sets of Malayalam film ‘Nammal’… my debut film – directed by Kamal sir – and became ‘Parimalam’ (My character’s name) a thrissur slang speaking slum dweller!! ! Still remember the way I was horrified when they finished the make-up, saying
‘No one will recognize me’ 😆!!!I was a kid myself and I did it anyway !!But now I know, I couldn’t have asked for a better debut !!So much success so many failures, setbacks, pain, happiness, love, friendships… but all of these shaped me into the person I am today !!I am still learning and unlearning a lot!! When I stop for a second and look back, all I feel is “THANK YOU” !!
And I continue this journey with the same gratitude and fear that I had as a newcomer!! And I am so excited about my journey!!” Bhavana wrote.
He also signed the note paying tribute to actor Jishnu and his father. “Also we miss you jishnu chetta 💔 PS: That smile on my dad’s face is priceless and I miss that 💔,” she added.
Jishnu died in 2016 after a long battle with cancer. Bhavana’s father passed away in 2015.
