The IPL 2023 mega auction ended on a grand note, breaking past records in Kochi. Sam Curran breaks Chris Morris’ record for the highest price in IPL auction history. In 2016, Chris Morris was bought by Rajasthan Royals for Rs 16.25 crore while Sam Curran went for Rs 18.50 crore in the last auction. Ben Stokes is the highest CSK bid at 16 crores while Cameron Green is the highest MI bid. Sunrisers Hyderabad paid 13.25 crores for Harry Brook and 8.25 crores for Mayank Agarwal. Shivam Mavi costs 5 crores in the list of uncapped players.
After the auction ends, here is the lineup list for the 10 teams. According to reports, IPL 2023 is likely to start in mid-March or April.
