EP started construction of his resort illegally, reveals complainant

Kannur: EP Jayarajan has been in more trouble as a former party member has made further revelations to justify the allegations against him by CPM state committee member P Jayarajan. At the party meeting, P Jayarajan reportedly raised allegations of disproportionate wealth accumulation against EP Jayarajan by referring to a resort owned by him.

Kerala Sastra Sahitya Parishad Bakkalam unit secretary Sajin accused Jayarajan of starting the construction of the EP Jayarajani station without getting government approval. He stated that many documents were secured after the completion of the construction work.

Reportedly, the CPM reportedly expelled Sajin from the branch committee for advancing the complaint.

According to details obtained under the Right to Information Act, approval of the Pollution Control Board and the Mines and Geology department or borehole digging permission was not obtained before the construction work, Sajin said.

Sajin alleged that the party did not inform about the meetings after the complaint was filed against EP Jayarajan. Soon after, the party expelled him citing repeated absences from meetings, he said.
