Google’s web browser, Chrome allows you to enable/disable the display of notifications and advertisements. Sometimes these ads and notifications can be a little overwhelming, especially when they include spam and ads. If you need to close them all, follow these simple steps.
Here’s how to block notifications in Google Chrome:
Step 1: Open Google Chrome on your PC/Laptop.
Step 2: Select the three vertical dots in the upper right corner of the window.
Step 3: Go to settings.
Step 4: Scroll down and you will get ‘Forward’ option, click on that.
Step 5: Under Privacy & Security, scroll down and click ‘site settings’.
Step 6: Tap ‘Notification’ to view notification settings.
Step 7: Click ‘Ads’ for ad settings.
Step 8: At the top of the page, there will be an option, ‘Ask before sending (recommended)’. Turn the ‘Locked’ option to stop windows.
Step 9: Select the ‘Block’ option to block notifications.
Step 10: Select the ‘Allow’ option to receive notifications.
Here’s how to stop notifications in other browsers:

In Mozilla Firefox, you can find the notification settings by clicking on the “Options” menu, “Permissions” and then “Notification Settings”. You can disable notifications.

In Apple Safari, click the ‘Safari’ menu and then ‘Preferences’. Click the ‘Notifications’ tab to block notifications from some or all websites.
