In recent times, cinema and studies have had a curious connection. In most cases, students have drawn content related to movies on their answer sheets. Earlier this year, a school student drew a dialogue spoken by Allu Arjun on his answer sheet for Pushpa: The Rise which went viral. However, this time, it’s the opposite as a question paper has gone viral due to its filmi connection.

It is well known that Kantara has become a national phenomenon since its release and along with its huge success at the box office, it has also enjoyed great popularity. Now, apparently, it has also found its way into exams. The department of Karnataka Milk Federation conducted the entrance test recently in which they had a question related to Kantara.

Kantara is a traditional form of animistic spirit worship through dance called Bhootha Kola. Bhootha is performed by an artist who is believed to be possessed by the demigod Kola. That art was an integral part of Kantara and that was the question. The multiple choice question, which asked candidates to answer what the newly released Kantara was based on, had the options of Jallikattu, Bhoothakola, Yakshagana, Dammami.

Kantaara lead actress Sapthami Gowda shared a picture of the question on her Instagram stories and wrote, “The best part of the question paper.” This shows the great impact the Rishab Shetty directed film has had on the whole.
