Ghaziabad (Uttar Pradesh) [India]Dec 24 (ANI): Uttar Pradesh police have arrested a man for allegedly murdering his partner seven months ago and falsely filing a missing report about her.
According to the police, the woman who lived with the defendant and his partner who lives in Raman disappeared on May 20 and she also had a 2-year-old daughter.

Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Deeksha Sharma said that the deceased woman’s partner had killed her after which she reported to the Indirapuram police station that his wife had “suddenly disappeared”. The police filed the missing report in the case based on the complaint filed by Raman.
After investigation, the police found that the couple had a quarrel over marriage and one day, Raman strangled his partner while they were on their way to Kullu in Himachal Pradesh and dumped the body in the forest there.

DCP Sharma further said that the body was found in the forests of Kullu where a case of murder had already been registered.
An investigation into the matter is underway.
