India has restored e-visa facilities for Canadian passport holders, the Indian High Commission, Ottawa, Canada, said on Tuesday. “The e-Visa facility for Canadian passport holders has been restored with effect from December 20, 2022,” the Indian High Commission in Ottawa said in a statement.
1) Canadian passport holders wishing to visit India for tourism, business, medical or conference purposes. He can apply for an e-Visa at https://indianvisaonline.gov.in/evisa/tvoa.html and follow the instructions given there.
2) Canadian passport holders wishing to travel to India for any purpose, who do not have an e-Visa, can apply for a paper visa at https://www.bisindia-canada.com/.
3) The same process applies to holders of Laissez-passer travel documents, the statement said.
4) The Indian High Commission has said that those who have applied for a visa through various Canadian BLS Centers are advised to wait for the same to be issued.
5) “All such applications will be processed on a priority basis. Applicants who wish to withdraw their respective visa applications may do so by visiting https://www.bisindia canada.com/ and selecting the option to withdraw their application.” he said let go.

How to apply for eVisa
– You can apply online and upload your photo and passport image
-Pay the eVisa fee online using a payment wallet or credit/debit card.
-The Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) will be sent to your email
-Give the printed ETA at the Immigration Check Post, where the eVisa will be stamped on the passport.
