
Avatar: Their Way Of Water
Despite the release of Ranveer Singh’s Cirkus, the film continues to soar at the box office and interestingly, the sci-fi film has crossed the Rs 100 crore mark in just three days.
In the latest update, according to reports, James Cameron’s film picks up pace over the weekend, approx. Rs. 21 crore on Day 9 (Saturday) in India. Looks like Avatar 2 is on its way to 300 million.
Rohit Shetty’s Cirkus also released this Friday, but it hasn’t affected Avatar’s collection, and the total collection is almost 227 crores.
Apart from this, the James Cameron directorial also became the first film to earn such huge opening day numbers in the post-pandemic era, surpassing any Bollywood film released this year and also the second highest grossing Indian Hollywood film.

Avatar: The Way of Water Avatar (2009) was released 13 years after the first film. The film stars Sam Worthington, Sigourney Weaver, Zoe Saldaana and Kate Winslet in key roles, among others. It’s about the lives of the Sully family, including Jake, Neytriri and their children, as they fight to protect their family, and Steven Lang’s Quaritch and his tribe, Pandora, as they are once again attacked.
