JEE Main Exam 2023 Session 1: Important notice for Tamil Nadu students released | Competitive Exams


The Testing Agency, NTA has released an important notification for JEE Main Exam 2023 Session 1. The notification is published only for Tamil Nadu students who want to appear for the Joint Entrance Examination 2023. Candidates can check the official advertisement on the official site of NTA. JEE at jeemain.nta.nic.in.

According to the official notification, the Agency has decided that candidates from Tamil Nadu who have passed the Class 10 examination in 2021 can apply for the JEE Main examination. “Year passed” and “school board” options will be disabled and the related fields for Marks/CGPA will be invisible for Tamil Nadu State Board candidates who have passed 10th class in 2021.

This decision was taken after the Agency received some representations from Tamil Nadu State Board candidates who have passed the class 10 examination in 2021.

The official notification reads, “Due to the outbreak of COVID, no examination was conducted for the 10th batch of 2021. Accordingly, no marks were awarded in the mark sheet and ‘pass’ is printed in all subjects with a disclaimer – “GO’s as per (Ms. ) No. 48, Department of School Education (GE) date: 25.02.2021, all candidates who studied SSLC in the academic year 2020-21 are declared passed.”

NTA has asked the candidates who have already filled the application form, after the year 2021, the school board will have to follow the same rule as Tamil Nadu State Board of School Examination (Sec.) and paid the fee, that is, the area will be Result mode. disabled and the Total Marks, Marks Earned, Marks Percentage fields will be invisible in the application form.
