Keala CM seeks permission to meet PM, President , Pinarayi vijayan to meet PM on Monday


Thiruvananthapuram: Amid growing protests against the buffer zone delimitation, Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan has sought permission to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Indian President Droupadi Murmu in Delhi. According to reports, the CM will leave for Delhi on Monday to attend the politburo meeting scheduled for December 27 and 28.

The CM is expected to land in Delhi by noon on Monday. That is why he plans to meet with the prime minister on Monday.

So far, the prime minister’s office has not given an appointment to Pinarayi Vijayan after examining his request.

According to reports, various issues including buffer zone, increase in loan limit and K-Rail will be discussed in the meeting with the PM.

Meanwhile, Kerala has seen massive protests over the delimitation of the buffer zone and the satellite survey report. Most of the people demand the center’s intervention in the matter.

It is known that the CM will try to overcome the political pressure of the K-Rail project in his meeting with the PM. Chief Secretary VP Joy will also accompany the CM.
