YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) leaders have decided to organize service-oriented programs across the state to celebrate the birthday of Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy on December 21. As part of these programmes, blood drives and saplings will be planted in various parts of the state of Andhra Pradesh, which will be held on Tuesday.
Also, a discussion session with the representatives of NGOs, intellectuals and caste associations will be held on the topic ‘Jagananna’s Administration… Welfare of the State – Development’. The CM’s birthday celebrations have started from Monday in all the districts with YSRCP taking charge of each constituency and local MLAs holding programs ahead of YS Jagan’s birthday.
According to party sources, cadres and especially women will participate in the birthday celebrations. YSRCP MLC Lella Appireddy said that arrangements are being made to conduct the CM’s birthday celebrations in a grand manner by DWCRA women, public associations, intellectuals and beneficiaries of welfare schemes.
YSRCP will organize large-scale blood donation camps in the two Telugu states and abroad in collaboration with the Red Cross. As part of this, the party will also start distributing fruits, clothes and food in orphanages and old people’s homes.
Last year, on the occasion of CM Jagan’s birthday, a record setting 38 thousand blood units were collected. Blood donation camps will be organized on a large scale this time too to collect blood for those in need.

The Chief Minister will be in Bapatla district on the 21st, and on Wednesday he will start distributing slips to the students of eight classes of Sri Alapati Venkata Ramaiah Zilla Parishad High School. He will interact with the students and celebrate his birthday with the students.
