Nagpur: A newly married woman committed suicide by hanging herself in Shantinagar police jurisdiction on Tuesday, December 20. It was not immediately possible to know the reason of the woman who took the extreme step.
The deceased has been identified as Rimshanad Aman Maniyar (23), born in Nalgalli, Jalna, but currently staying at Plot No. 247, Baba Sumer Nagar, Kawrapeth, Shantinagar.

According to the police, the deceased got married in May 2022 but was staying with her brother in Shantinagar area for the last two months. Around 5 pm on Tuesday, Rimshanad was found hanging from the ceiling fan with the help of an odhni at his residence. Relatives took him to Mayo Hospital, but doctors declared him dead on admission. The exact reason behind Rimshanad taking the drastic step could not be immediately ascertained.
Shantinagar PSI Mishra, based on the information, registered a case of accidental death and initiated a thorough investigation into the matter.
