A heated argument between a passenger and a cabin crew on an IndiGo flight was recorded.
Author: Srimoyee Chowdhury: An IndiGo air hostess got into a heated argument with a passenger on an Istanbul-Delhi flight as the video of the incident went viral on social media. The discussion between the passenger and the flight attendant was about the meals served on board. As the video surfaced on the internet, IndiGo was quick enough to respond.
A Twitter user named Gurpreet Singh Hans shared clips of the incident on Twitter. As can be seen in the video, one of the cabin crew was serving food to the passengers when the aforementioned incident took place.
The flight attendant then tried to reason with the passenger and asked him to speak politely to the crew.
As she continued to yell, she screamed at the flight attendant, “Shut up,” and asked the crew to consider her tone and stop talking like that.
“Why are you yelling,” asked the passenger as he replied, “Because you’re yelling at us!”
“No, I’m very sorry, sir, but you can’t talk to the crew like that. I listen to you calmly with all due respect, but you have to respect the crew as well. You can’t talk to me like that. I’m an employee here too,” said the air hostess as she interrupted another cabin crew member and tried to resolve the issue.
Matters took a turn for the worse after the passenger in question referred to the air hostess as a “waiter”. He returned, saying: “Yes, I am an employee. I am not your servant”.

Another video has been added to the Twitter thread, showing a female passenger screaming at the cabin crew for not being able to provide food on a long-haul international flight.
Although it is not clear whether the altercation was caused by the crew refusing to provide meals or a lack of food, the reaction on the Internet was quite clear about the incident.
As the videos went viral, people voiced their opinions without hesitation in the comments section.
“This man is ridiculous. A plane like that can’t carry an entire restaurant. If you need a meal, book in advance. Kudos to the leader for sticking up for his crew,” one Twitter user wrote.
“I don’t know the context, but the passenger who was shouting can’t call them ‘wizards,'” said another.
