About 1,100 police officers have visited the area

Security has reportedly been beefed up in Edlapalli village of Andhra Pradesh’s Bapatla district ahead of the Chief Minister on Wednesday. YS Jagan Mohan Reddy’s visit to a school there.

District Superintendent of Police Vakul Jindal on Tuesday conducted a test run of the chief minister’s convoy on the 1.6-km route from the helipad to the meeting ground and issued instructions to the officers and staff, according to the report.

Officers were instructed to ensure that traffic diversions are properly implemented and that vehicles are parked in designated areas on the premises. Officials were also directed to ensure hassle-free entry and exit of students and parents, according to the report.
