The beloved annual Shop-With-a-Cop program returned to the Price Walmart Saturday morning to bless local youth with Christmas gifts. This event is hosted annually by local law enforcement agencies in Carbon County, including each city police department, county sheriff’s offices, the Utah Highway Patrol, and more.

Kids are welcome for a fun morning of local law enforcement, starting with breakfast. This breakfast was held at USU Eastern in the Jennifer Leavitt Student Center. The meal itself was provided by McDonald’s, while refreshments were provided by USU Eastern dining services.

After the free breakfast, the juniors will have a small parade from the college to Walmart, where officers turn on the lights and sirens to welcome them. Once at Walmart, kids are invited to pick out some holiday gifts. Walmart also offers cookies and drinks after the fun shopping.
