The minister has assured that the matter will be brought to the notice of Chief Minister K Chadrashekhar Rao and he will receive punishment.

Karimnagar: Sports Minister V Srinivas Goud has promised to build a cricket stadium in Karimnagar. The minister assured Civil Supplies Minister Gangula Kamalakar that the stadium would be built on 12 acres of land available on the erstwhile PG College premises.
The minister assured to bring the matter to the notice of Chief Minister K Chadrashekhar Rao and get sanctions. He was speaking after inaugurating the synthetic track along with TS Planning Commission Vice Chairman B Vinod Kumar at Karimnagar Regional Sports School here on Friday.
He said the government had developed 7,800 field sports grounds in the state to encourage field sportspersons and excel in national and international events. In addition to rural sports facilities, a stadium stadium is also being built in every district. He said that although the construction of 45 stadiums had already been completed, the rest were underway.
Before the creation of Telangana, the authorities played with the lives of the unemployed youth. Apart from sports, education was also given top priority and 1,000 gurukulam schools were established to provide quality education to the poor.
A medical college has been established in every district. To attract national and international tourists, the Manair River Front project was taken up in Karimnagar. Kamalakar said Telangana athletes were sidelined in united Andhra Pradesh.
However, the situation has changed after the formation of a separate state. In addition to health and education, priority was given to sports. Vinod Kumar said that the Chief Minister, who has special affection for Karimnagar, was taking up various development programmes.
Being an MP, Chandrashekahar Rao designed some plans to develop Karimnagar.
