He said the government had developed 7,800 field sports grounds in the state to encourage field sportspersons and excel in national and international events. In addition to rural sports facilities, a stadium stadium is also being built in every district. He said that although the construction of 45 stadiums had already been completed, the rest were underway.

Before the creation of Telangana, the authorities played with the lives of the unemployed youth. Apart from sports, education was also given top priority and 1,000 gurukulam schools were established to provide quality education to the poor.

A medical college has been established in every district. To attract national and international tourists, the Manair River Front project was taken up in Karimnagar. Kamalakar said Telangana athletes were sidelined in united Andhra Pradesh.

However, the situation has changed after the formation of a separate state. In addition to health and education, priority was given to sports. Vinod Kumar said that the Chief Minister, who has special affection for Karimnagar, was taking up various development programmes.
