Vishal is a popular Tamil actor who is as well known for his humanitarian activities as he is for his talented acting. He is known to sponsor the education expenses of 1800 children in Karnataka, earlier supported by late Puneeth Rajkumar. Apart from that, he is also known to lend a hand to the needy. This time, he has decided to help the country’s farmers.
Vishal is looking forward to the release of Laththi on December 22nd. Lathi is directed by debutant director Vinod Kumar. Expectations for the film have been heightened by the recently released trailer.
Vishal’s biggest release this year, Laththi will release simultaneously in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi. Vishal has been involved in the promotional activities of the film. In a media interaction, Vishal said that part of the Laththi proceedings will be conveyed to the poor farmers.
Calling farmers the backbone of the country, Vishal said he had an obligation towards them and hence said a portion of the film’s box office collection will be given to the farmers. It is noteworthy here and this is the second time that the actor is donating the box office collection of his film to the farmers. Earlier, Vishal had donated a part of the collections from Sandakozhi 2 to the farmers association.
Apart from Vishal, Sunaina is the female lead in Laththi. The film is believed to be an action drama with suspense elements. The film’s music was composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja.
