Telangana CM KCR Inaugurates BRS Office in Delhi


New Delhi: Entering national politics, Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao on Wednesday inaugurated the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) central office in the national capital.

He hoisted the BRS flag in front of ministers, MPs and MLAs from Janata Dal (Secular), Samajwadi Party, Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) and Telangana besides farmers leaders from various states.

After unfurling the party flag, KCR entered his chamber at the party office on Sardar Patel Marg. He was accompanied by former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister and Samajwadi Party leader Akhilesh Yadav, former Karnataka Chief Minister and JD (S) leader HD Kumaraswamy and other leaders.

The opening ceremony took place between 12.37 and 12.47, the auspicious time fixed for the ceremony, amid the singing of Vedic hymns. Elaborate religious rituals were performed on the occasion.
