TRS Activists Vandalise Nizamabad MP Aravind’s House in Hyderabad

Hyderabad:Tension prevailed at the residence of Nizamabad MP Dharmapuri Aravind in Hyderabad on Friday after TRS activists vandalized the house, breaking windows and damaging furniture, over his remarks against their leader and MLC Kalvakuntla Kavitha. MP Arvind was not at his residence at the time of the attack.

The TRS activists raised slogans against the MP and entered the house. After damaging the property, the protesters also burnt an effigy of the lawmaker in front of the house and staged a protest before the police reached the spot and arrested some of the accused.

BJP MP Arvind Dharmapuri on Thursday alleged that Kavitha, TRS MLC and Telangana Chief Minister’s daughter K Chandrashekar Rao had called Congress party president Mallikarjun Kharge and expressed interest in joining the party.

Denying allegations that MP Arvind is in touch with the Congress party, MLC Kavitha on Friday said in a presser, “I will hit MP Arvind with Chappal on Nizamabad X roads for stooping to a new level.”

He further added that he will hunt him down to contest the elections wherever he does and ensure that he is defeated.
