Two brothers among three killed in separate accidents in Haryana | Gurgaon News


KARNAL: Three people died in two separate accidents on National Highway 44 Karnal the neighborhood.
In the first accident, two brothers were killed after a car hit their motorcycle near Gharaunda village in Karnal district on Friday evening.
The deceased have been identified as Sonu (38) and Sunil (36), a local resident Chharpur Khurd in town Panipat.
Police said the couple was returning home from Yamunanagar after taking the medicine. When they approached the village of Gharaunda, a car coming from the wrong side hit the bike, killing them on the spot.
The driver managed to escape with the car.
After receiving the information, the police team reached the spot and sent the bodies for post-mortem.
Deepak Kumar, SHO, Gharaunda police station said a case has been registered against the motorist under sections 279 and 304A of the Indian Penal Code. The body has been handed over to the family after an autopsy. The investigation is ongoing.
In the second accident, a 25-year-old man was killed after a car hit his motorcycle near Jamba village in Karnal on Friday night. The deceased has been identified as Vikram, a car painter, resident of Sanwat village in the district. The police said that Vikram he was returning Kurukshetra when the accident happened. Police said an FIR has been registered under sections 279, 337 and 304A of the Indian Penal Code.
