The Testing Agency (NTA) has released the syllabus for the Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) Mains 2023 exam. Candidates can check and download the JEE main syllabus through the official website: jeemain.nta.nic.in. BE and BTech paper of JEE Main 2023 paper will have three sections including Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

JEE Mains 2023 consists of two papers: Paper 1 and Paper 2. Paper 1 is conducted for admission to undergraduate engineering programs (BE and BTech). And paper 2 is conducted for admission to BArch and BPlanning courses in the country. The exam will be conducted in two sessions in the form of Computer Based Test (CBT).







Four marks (+4) will be awarded for each correct answer or best answer in the JEE Mains 2023 exam. For wrong answers or multiple answers, candidates will get minus one (-1) mark. According to the National Education Policy (NEP), JEE Mains 2023 will be conducted in English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu and Urdu. The language option of the question paper must be exercised while filling the application form online and cannot be changed later. However, to ensure that the questions are correct in all the question papers, the English version will be taken as the final one.
