Veteran actor Rajeeta Kochhar has passed away at the age of 70

Veteran actress Rajeeta Kochhar breathed her last in Mumbai on Friday, her niece Nupur Kampani confirmed on Saturday. He was 70 years old.
According to media reports, the actor died of kidney failure.
Kochhar was taken to a private hospital in Mumbai on Tuesday where he complained of abdominal pain and difficulty in breathing and was undergoing treatment. However, his condition worsened on Friday.
Kochhar suffered a stroke in 2021
according to The Times of India, Kochhar’s nephew the late actor Kampani suffered a stroke in September last year. He reported that he was paralyzed but was gradually recovering.
However, on Tuesday, he complained of abdominal pain and shortness of breath, after which he was taken to hospital and put on a ventilator. He breathed his last on Friday around 10:30 am.
Kochhar was more than a mother to Kampani

Kampani said her aunt was more than a mother to her. Kochhar raised him and took care of him as his own too.
He also said that the late actor never spoke ill of anyone and always encouraged people to see the positive in everyone.
The niece recalls her last moments with Kochhar
Recalling her last moments with her aunt, Kampani said when she met her early on Friday, Kochhar held her hand and thanked her for everything.
When Kampani said he should live for her, Kochhar gave him a thumbs up. “This was our last conversation. I think he knew he was leaving,” Kampani said.
Kochhar was last seen in ‘Manikarnika’
Kochhar was a popular name in the Hindi entertainment world.
He was part of several Hindi movies and TV series, including Ekta Kapoor’s Kahani Ghar Ghar Kii which starred Sakshi Tanwar.

The veteran actor was last seen in Kangana Ranaut’s 2019 film Manikarnika: Queen of Jhansi.
