Hyderabad: The Telangana Waqf Board has filed a petition in the High Court seeking reinstatement of the revision petition for the Kohe Imam-e-Zaminen plot.
Waqf Board High Court of Telangana No. 5402/2010. He challenged the dismissal of the review petition and filed an application to reinstate the review petition. 5402/2010 CRP no. The Telangana High Court dismissed it on November 11, in no uncertain terms, as the Waqf Board had not appeared since June 19, 2018.
Following revelations in The Siasat Daily about Kohe Imam-e-Zamin’s carelessness in protecting the land, Waqf Board Chairman, Muhammad Masihullah Khan called a meeting and directed to file an immediate petition for review of the petition. The General Manager’s Office, despite the failure in this case, has been silent until now, but on December 20th it has decided to apply for reinstatement and send it to the municipality. After receiving the memorandum of the appearance, lawyer Abu Akram filed the petition in the rehabilitation court.
The situation is arising due to the incompetence of the legal department of the Waqf Board and the fact that the officials of the board are not aware of the decisions of court cases. According to sources, apart from Kohe Imam-e-Zamin, there are many other cases where the Waqf Board has been defeated due to non-compliance.
